Wow... This was a great deal. 14 DVDs for $25.00
This thing has some great features. It includes all of the movies plus over 20 hours of special features. It also includes all 17 Fleischer cartoons, the treasured Richard Donner cut and the almost impressive Superman Returns. The special features have many great documentaries and the unnecessary/campy 50th Anniversary of Superman Documentary. For fans of the man of steel.

This is an amazing set. I have zero complaints about the materials themselves; everything is top-notch.
BUT!
If you choose to buy this set, it's in your best interest to try each of the DVDs by actually playing them because you might have a dud.
For me, disc 2 of the first movie won't play - there's separation of the DVD material and it's visible under good light.
Other people have also mentioned that at least one disc had to be exchanged by sending ... Read More

I saved for months to purchase this set. It was almost unbelievable that Warner Bros was supposed to have cleaned it up. There were so many defective discs ... I returned it to Amazon for credit. I think it will be a long time before I ever purchse another
